Hey guyssss! Welcome back to The New World Order! We have officially finished with our final exams and it feels so great to be writing this and it is so good to be back! Well guys, I am not writing this blog from home… Guess where I am? I am staying away from my mom and sister for the very first time. I am staying with my dad at the Holiday Inn, Agra! Well seems like an awesome way to end exams doesn’t it?
During this time Dad and I decided to spend quality time together. This vacation was a good mix and a balance of everything if you ask me… Since I had my exams till Friday, I used to study a bit daily and spend time with my dad. During my study time he used to go down to the office and work, so technically we both used to decide a time and we used to finish our work by that time. I got better at time management. On Friday night, I had the time of my life. It was the day I finished my exams. Dad took me out for a special dinner, our very special date and the first for me:) We went to a roof top restaurant which had an infinity pool at Taj, for dinner. So yayy!! It was an amazing way to end my exams and even better way to spend time with my dad! The food was delicious and their sizzlers were to die for. If you don’t believe me check out the picture below:

When I had gone out with my dad for dinner we had meaningful conversations and we shared a good laugh. Apart from this, dad and I watched a movie every night EVEN if it was late at night.
The staff was taking a number of precautions and the measures taken by them were highly commendable. I understand during times like these we are not very comfortable going out and if we go out we would want to go to a place which takes all the necessary precautions for our safety. The housekeeping staff wore masks and gloves at all times while servicing the rooms. I wonder, how they stayed in the mask at all times. I feel extremely suffocated in just a few minutes. They don’t just do one room they do many and it is extremely difficult to stay masked for hours, so hats off to them. They have made me feel extremely looked after. I was honoured to have the food which the staff eats during their lunch break which comes from the cafeteria. Though at dinner I was a little pampered by them. Though to be honest the one thing I missed the most was Ghar Ka Khana. I can’t even believe I am typing this right now but, I thought that I could eat hotel food and all this food from outside day in and day out…I guess I was wrong…By the end of the week I was craving for home food. This blog has been written by me in a span of 3-4 days, starting from when I was in Agra and ending in my cozy study room at my house. It feels great to eat home food again! 🙂
I as a person love swimming and I haven’t had taken a dip in the pool for like a year which feels like a million years. But during this trip I went for a swim and it felt just out of the world. It felt like I was a fish in the water. Or you can also say I felt like a bird being let out of its cage 🙂

So guys…I enjoyed my stay at the hotel(my very first trip in 2021) and I loved spending time with my dad. I wish I get to do this more often. Learning is a continuous process and my learning from this trip has been:
Even if you travel the world and eat the best dishes there will be nothing like home food. I remember telling my mom at the beginning of this trip that I will not miss the food made at home at all and there I was craving for home food. Secondly, I feel that planning of your trip or holiday in the year 2021 is very important as you should go to a place which makes you feel safe and a place you can trust. Holiday Inn Agra made me feel extremely safe and this trip made our bond of trust even stronger. So, all of you plan your holidays this year in a place which you trust and a place which makes you and your family feel secure and safe.
That’s it for now my fellow readers. I hope you all felt the connect and shared my feelings of the craving of home cooked food or being suffocated under the mask. Please share your thoughts in the comments below 😉 Till then my readers, stay safe!
