In life the best thing aren’t things, they are people. Hey readers and welcome back to the New World Order! Today I will be talking to you about my role model and my inspiration. At the end of this blog it would be delightful if you would also tell me your role model or your inspiration.

My inspiration and role model is my nani. She has been through a lot, medically, emotionally and physically more than anyone can imagine. But, she has emerged a winner. A little more than 2 years ago she was diagnosed with cancer and she started going for her chemotherapy and radiation. She took it all in her stride and decided to get the treatment done with her positive attitude. A few days before the navratras she went out to buy groceries. She fell down and injured her right shoulder very badly and got bruised as well. That night was no less than a torture for her and a nightmare for us and my Nanu. The tests revealed that she had a fracture, she went for treatment for her shoulder amid her chemotherapy. It was a difficult time for her, but with endless dedication she went for many sessions. Her shoulder is better than before. In course of all this, her feet had become unstable and she wasn’t even able to walk. Whenever we used to call her, during lunch she always used to tell me and my sister that she is good and God is kind, but when she used to speak to my mother she at times used to be on the verge of tears. It gives me immense pain to see my family members sad and unwell, especially my nani. She was extremely strong during that time and she faced everything like a fierce tigress. During the lockdown, she has made a constant effort to start walking again, and she makes an immense effort to walk around the house on her own, without anyone’s help. I am proud of my nani, and her dedication and strength tells us that more or less anything is possible you just need a positive mindset. As it’s said, behind every successful man there is a woman, similarly behind every successful, happy woman there is her loving husband. My nani couldn’t have achieved this on her own. My nanu has been her and our pillar of strength, he showed immense patience and positivity as well. I remember the time when my exams were going to begin my nani always said, “Jiya, you can and you will do it!”. It is true and as they say, think you can and you’re halfway there. 😉 Hope you all draw strength and inspiration from my Grandparents, the same way as i do.
Positive thinking leads a man to success. One who thinks that he/she can achieve the things, will put his or her best foot forward. He or she will not be troubled by the problems in the path of success and one day he or she will win positively. Self confidence, determination, perseverance, and hard work are the key factors of success.
Dear readers, the door to success cannot be reached through an elevator, you have to use the stairs. By this I mean that, success cannot be obtained with just a click of your fingers, you have to obtain success with the help of determination and positivity.

Extremely well written Jiya! I agree, being a role model is not about being perfect. Rather, it’s about speaking out and inspiring others! 😃

My Princess Jiya
I find it difficult to express myself on your well thought and expressed blog. Yes Jiya, being positive is really
a great weapon which can pull us out of extreme issues. Pray that everyone is positive in life so that the suffering
gets down to ZERO. Thanks for every word in your blog.
Love you.
Yours Nanu
